(10) Stories from the lab: main events (2021-2022)
All events organised within the Cities2030 Vicenza Food Lab have a common thread: to disseminate knowledge about the pivotal role of food for people, for the environment and for socio-economic well-being, with a specific focus on the role of cities and their periurban areas. In this page, some of the most important events/initiatives are briefly described.
Since the beginning of the project, the Living Lab was launched in La Vigna with a capacity-building process that continued throughout the duration of the activities.

2022.07.24 - "Il Giardino di Alice-Storie da mangiare" by ExVuotoTeatro - Un giorno da ape (A day as a bee)
A theatre workshop for families and children in the framework of the programme “Il Giardino di Alice – Storie da mangiare”. Stories were told to entertain and workshops were used to teach how food can influence the environment we live in and our health.
2022.10.27 - Public Conference "Cibo. Urbano. Sostenibile" (Food. Urban. Sustainable)
A public event which was attended by representatives of the cities of Bergamo, Livorno, Matera, Trento, Venice and Pollica, who shared the local initiatives in the field of food governance. In this occasion, there was also the subscription of the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact (MUFPP) by the Municipality of Vicenza.
